COMING IN JANUARY!

We’re excited to bring new Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) to our Newport branch (5044 N. Dixie Hwy. Newport, MI 48166). These machines combine the convenience of an ATM with the personal touch of a live teller, making banking faster, easier, and more flexible for our members.

Important Dates (weather permitting):

• Monday, January 5: Our ATM will be temporarily unavailable while we install the first ITM.
• Following the first installation: The drive-thru will be under construction. You can still visit inside the branch for all your banking needs during this time.

How An ITM Works:

• Complete everyday transactions with a live teller, right through the ITM

• Deposit checks, make withdrawals, transfer funds, and more

• Get help instantly, just like visiting a teller inside the branch

To celebrate the arrival of our ITMs, every time you interact with a live teller using an ITM between January 5 and January 30, you’ll be entered for a chance to win one of two 65-inch TVs*.

• How is an ITM different from an ATM?
  ATMs handle basic deposits and withdrawals, while ITMs connect you with a live MCCU teller for personalized support and more complex transactions.

• What transactions can be conducted at an ITM?

• Are the ITM tellers real MCCU employees?
  Yes! Every ITM teller is a trained MCCU team member, just like the ones you see in our branches.

• When are ITM tellers available?
  ITM tellers are available during regular MCCU business hours Monday-Thursday 9am-4:30pm, Friday 9am-5:30pm, and Saturday 9am-12pm. Outside those time times, the machine works as a regular ATM.

• Can I still use the machine like a normal ATM?
  Absolutely. ATM functions like withdrawals, deposits, transfers, and balance inquires are available 24/7.

• Do I need my debit card to use an ITM?
  No, you don't need your debit card during business hours. ITM tellers can verify your identity with a valid ID. A debit card is only required for afer hours transactions.

• Why is MCCU adding ITMs?
  ITMs improve convenience, reduce wait times, and extend access to teller services, especially in locations without full in-branch staffing.

• Do I need an appointement to use an ITM?
  No appointment needed. Just tap the screen to begin!

• Will ITMs replace tellers in the branches?
  No. ITMs are optional and branches will still offer full in-person support.
