*Monroe Community Credit Union (MCCU) Membership eligibility required. $5.00 minimum opening deposit. Account opening for individuals aged 13 to 15 requires joint ownership with a parent or legal guardian who qualifies for membership with MCCU. Members 16-17 years old may open an account individually, with valid photo identification. No monthly maintenance fee. No minimum balance requirement. Debit cards issued to members ages 13-15 require parent/guardian consent waiver. Debit cards issued to minors are automatically opted out of overdraft privilege. Minor checking accounts are not eligible for Check Guard. Remote deposit capture will not be available until 30 days after account opening. MCCU is Federally Insured by NCUA.
